Overview
ALI the Lesson Buddy is a planning app built for one real teacher's real workload, not a generic to-do list. Everything lives on one page: a warm, paper-textured board where every task for the day or week is a sticky note, with the day's lesson plan card in the middle. No tabs, no dashboards, no nested menus. The point of difference is the camera. Teachers plan on paper, so ALI lets them photograph a multi-page lesson plan and read it back as a structured internalization card — objective, Do Now, activity, classwork, exit ticket, homework, plus what to know cold, where students will get stuck, and a 60-second launch script. Photograph the student packet as well and ALI produces the answer key, annotations, misconceptions, section timings and an exemplar written response. Around that, the week runs itself: the standing weekly checklist appears automatically, colours and priority levels group similar work together, deadlines count down, and finished weeks are frozen so they stay an accurate record. It is mobile-first, because the work happens at the copier and in the hallway, and it opens up into a full scattered board on a laptop.
